Tapping Into Energy To Create Our Healing Soundtracks
“All I can say is ‘wow’!” “A rare piece of stunning and truly excellent work from above.” “I have no words for this masterpiece.” “Magnificent”. “Angels and Saints was beyond profound”. These are just a few of the comments received after I shared my most recent healing meditational track, “Angels & Saints”, during my online Global Healing Event last month.
I strongly believe that together with Anita Ridley, Tim Wheater and Ffion, we ‘tap into’ healing energies as we create our 50-minute soundtracks. The experience is the same each time we embark on a new project: usually the words come first to me in a rapid flow, reminiscent of when I used to do automatic writing and drawing, and Anita is then able to attune to the same inspirational source as she composes the music. Tim and Ffion have a similar ability that allows us to work with a ‘group inspiration’ greater than any of us as individuals.
I’ve never been a fan of traditional meditations, finding them predictable and somewhat rigid so my words are more of a journey during which I take listeners to magical, spellbinding places. Like a song, I often repeat poetically written passages that become almost mantra-like.
We always strive to make each track sound different and although Anita and Tim are both former students of the Royal College of Music and have extensive experience of playing classical music, we also sometimes become more rock-oriented as well as being influenced by beautiful world music sounds.
All our music is available to stream directly from this website and is enjoyed by my patients, healing circle participants, other therapists, and so many more people who simply play it for listening pleasure at home. There are usually two versions of each track: one has my voice to lead you on a healing journey and the other is purely instrumental.
