In 1981 I recorded one of the most popular meditations from my healing workshop, 'Left Brain, Right Brain', on a cassette tape entitled 'Creative Visualisation.' It became one of my most successful titles, selling over 100,000 copies. In the 1960s, Nobel Prize winner Roger Sperry, put forward the idea that people are either left-brained or right-brained. Left brain functions include analytic thought, logic, language, reasoning, science and maths and right-hand control. However, right brain functions tend to favour art awareness, creativity, imagination, intuition, insight, holistic thought, music awareness and left hand control.Healing therefore is essentially right-hemispheric and my meditation was intended as a 'brain-training' to help the two sides of the brain work better together.I don't use this particular exercise anymore in my workshop as I'm constricted by time and have so many other meditations to use - but it still really stands the test of time and is great to practice with if you're interested in developing your own intuitive, creative and healing abilities.I've had so many people asking for this recording that I've now released it on CD. We've even kept all the original 80s artwork!
